The road to the trail is best done with a four-wheel drive vehicle so we will meet at the Murdochs Parking lot at 8:00 a.m. to carpool to the trailhead and leave promptly at 8:15. Ann Massey and Pete Rubin both have four wheel drive vehicles so they will be able to take 4 people each. If anyone else has a four wheel drive vehicle we would be able to take more. It is a moderate hike of 6 miles and 1,500 vertical feet. It will take about 4 - 4 1/2 hours including a nice stop once we get to the lake.
