'Adventure Gap': A discussion regarding the lack of minority representation in the outdoors with Ariel Amaru.
Ariel Amaru received her law school degree from University of Colorado (2020) and her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University in (2016). Ariel undergraduate thesis on black women's experiences of domestic violence won the outstanding undergraduate research of the year award. While in law school, Ariel served as the president of both the Black and Jewish Law Students Associations. She will begin as a first year associate at Crowell & Moring in Washington D.C. in 2021. Ariel is a Colorado native and feels grateful for having a multifaceted identity which provides a lens into multiple perspectives.
