About the Show: Casey, a struggling Elvis impersonator adorned in a sequin jumpsuit, finds his world turned upside down when he loses his gig, faces overdue rent, and discovers his wife is expecting a baby. As Elvis exits the scene and a drag show takes over, Casey must transform and embrace a newfound stage identity in order to survive. Filled with witty banter, catchy tunes, and unexpected twists, serves up both laughter and insight.

Mindful ELUL: Preparing our Souls for the High Holidays
ELUL (the Hebrew month that precedes the High Holidays) is a time to harvest, plow and reseed the field of our souls. Our wise tradition offers ELUL, a month of rituals and practices to help us spiritually grow, recalibrate and return to what we cherish most. Sounding the shofar every morning, reading Psalm 27 every morning, visiting the graves of our loved ones, reciting Selichot (special prayers of forgiveness) to practicing cheshbon ha'nefesh (soul accounting - reflecting/journaling on our individual behavior.)
Join Rabbi Ruthie as she introduces us to some practices of Elul (which begins September 4th) that we can adopt and adapt in our lives and in the coming month .
Home of Joe Weber and Donna Shear, Silverthorne. Please RSVP for address. Light dinner provided.
