Congregant Eligar Sadeh is hosting an introductory workshop on Compassionate Listening, of which he is a certificated facilitator.  Compassionate Listening is a transformative practice that deepens connections with others, and ourselves, and helps us navigate challenging issues, conflicts, and conversations with authenticity and compassion. This program is designed to provide a safe and supportive space for us to learn and to grow together. It is a practice that reaches deep into the heart of discord, teaching people to authentically listen to those around them. Compassionate Listening provides powerful tools to help transform our energy into opportunities for understanding and positive action. It is rooted in insights from neuroscience, psychology, and spiritual wisdom. 

Led by Vicky Kelman. We will meet at 9:00am in front of the Center Village ticket windows near the American Eagle lift. Details to follow.

Join Rabbi Ruthie and Song Leader/Cantorial Student Ev Evnen for a lively and meaningful Friday evening service. Bring a dessert or beverage to share. Hamentaschen will be provided, courtesy of the SOS bakers. About Ev:  Music has always been a portal to something deeper for Ev. Ev understands song as a way to move us to higher spiritual intensity and a way to be in community with each other. Ev is a member and Tefilah Teacher at Rodef Shalom in Denver, Colorado. 

Double your learning and fun with a combined Torah Study and Song Circle with Ev Evnen and Rabbi Ruthie. Rabbi will lead us in a little learning and Ev will follow with a little singing. What a meaningful and joyful way to spend Shabbat morning! Bagels and coffee provided.

Gather at 2:15pm at the Salt LIck trailhead off Ryan Gulph Road in Wildernest. Snowshoeing caps off a beautiful Shabbat. It's an easy trail; depending on conditions you may not need snow shoes and can make do with boots and perhaps yak tracks. There will be a surprise at the end!
