Smart Bellies is a Backpack Food program that works to reduce childhood hunger. We will be packing Thanksgiving Bags for Families in need. Looking for up to 12 SOS volunteers to gather, do some good and have fun. Please contact Amy Somers to sign up!

The Interfaith Council is excited to announce the opportunity for a monthly study group, open to people of all faiths, designed to focus on the Torah – the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. If you have ever been curious about how Jews study their scriptures – including the sources and commentaries they consult – this program should interest you. It is also an opportunity to study the Hebrew scriptures alongside people of all faiths as they seek to interpret God’s Word and commandments. To our knowledge, nothing of this nature has previously been done in Summit County.  Anyone interested in participating should go to this address and request to join the group:  https://groups.google.com/g/summit-torah-study This is important in the event a session is rescheduled or relocated for any reason, you will find out about it here.  We will also have a ZOOM link available for those who wish to participate via computer. 

Led by Barry Skolnick. SOS will provide Challah and wine for Kiddush. Please bring something small to share for the oneg.
