Join us for a 4 mile out and back up to the mining ghost town cabins - It is a gentle uphill on a wide dirt road with some slightly steeper shorter sections. Then downhill all the way back! Takes about 3-3.5 hours at our very leisurely pace. Elev. gain of about 800-1000 ft.

Meet at the trail head parking lot - Directions: From I-70 take Exit 195, Copper Mountain / Leadville. From the light at Copper Mountain, travel 5.3 miles on Hwy 91 towards Leadville. The parking lot will be on your left but there is no sign. If you get to Clinton Creek Lake (big lake on the left side of the road), you’ve gone too far. There is no cell service in the parking lot.
