Maxine and Marty will be leading everyones’ favorite hike/service up Shrine Mountain on Saturday, July 30 at 8:30AM. Please be certain to register so we know who to wait for. We will wait in the parking lot until 8:45 and then leave for the trail head. Maxine will bring challah, wine, and brownies for all. Hikers should bring enough water for the hike, rain gear, bug spray!! And any other snacks they want etc. we will gather for a short service at the top. Dogs are welcome. The trail is considered moderate but gets steep in places. It is approximately 4.5 miles up and back. If you haven’t been, it is one of the best hikes for wild flowers and scenery anywhere but it is very popular so parking can be challenging. Please consider carpooling if possible. Directions can be found on All Trails. Exit 190 off I-70 at the top of Vail Pass.
